My name’s Kieron, and I’m a Somerset-based cultural heritage photographer and retoucher with a background in archaeology and over ten years’ experience working with museums and archives. I’m passionate about the power of photography to illuminate engaging, authentic stories around the past and present, and my work is grounded in a deep respect for accuracy and preservation.

 

I created this online retouching and image editing service to make my skills more accessible, offering thoughtful collaboration with a real person who values your images as much as you do. Whether you’re a photographer seeking support with a retouch backlog, a business or nonprofit managing an image archive, an artist or maker documenting your work, or someone with a personal or family photo collection, I’m here to help.

 

My aim is to bring out the best in your images while preserving their original character, working with care, attention, and sensitivity. I offer a range of digital image postproduction services, from subtle enhancement and colour correction to more detailed retouch, object cutouts and image repair. My workflow is entirely non-destructive, and I use industry-standard tools to deliver high-quality, professional results. I aim to be transparent and collaborative at every stage, keeping you informed and involved whether it’s a one-off request or a longer-term working relationship.

 

If you're curious about how your images might benefit from professional editing, I offer a free proofing service for new clients with five or more images. I’ll identify a selection with you, apply the appropriate level of work, and return finished proofs at no charge so you can judge the results on your own images, with no obligation to continue.
